Shima-san took what would have already been a great trip to a beautiful place and made it into a truly precious memory. He showed us incredible hospitality, warmth and enthusiasm for his homeland. For two days, this small island felt like home. Staying by the sea in Shima-san’s lovely home was comfortable and relaxing. The local area is idyllic and natural. If you are coming to Kyushu, you need to come to Amakusa; if you are coming to Amakusa, you need to stay with Shima-san. Thank you for everything!
